Kira screamed upon hearing the explosion, grabbing Luke's arm and squeezing her eyes shut. She ducked her head down, shaking out of fear as well.

Elena froze upon hearing the explosion, glancing wildly between the village and Simon.

And that's when Joey got really pissed. Everyone within ten miles could feel the power Joey was now giving off. "Start talking...now." Joey said, his voice and face not giving away any emotion.

Luke stood over Kira protectively, not particularly fazed by the explosion but worried for his old team-mate. He gave her a small and awkward hug.

"Easy, Kira, don't worry, it's all gonna be okay," he soothed.

Kira hugged Luke back, trying to calm down. She kept remembering the Storm, and then got even more freaked out...this was all a bad idea. Her forest never exploded... "N-Nothing's on f-f-fire...r-right...?"

Kira nodded, pulling away, her hand moving to her forehead. "S-S-Sorry... I...I-I fr-freak-k-ked o-out..." she mumbled apologetically, wishing once again that she'd gotten a little braver in the last five years.

"My Flow periodically implodes in on me since my...uh, fight. Explosions don't make me jump any more," Luke replied bleakly, helping her up.

Nathan frowned to the two who he was with as he gestured for them to stop. Directly in front of them was an emerald green tower and in front of that stood four adults of about eighteen to twenty one, and behind them a mixture of sixteen to seventeen year old's number about fifteen to seventeen.

The trio weren't in sight and their flows couldn't be sensed but he could already guess that the group were waiting for them. "Two of those adults are just as strong as you and me, Tom. And the other two are probably in between the power level of the two of us and Heidi." He frowned again and looked at the two. "Heidi if you take the fifteen non-adults whilst Tom and I take two of the adults each. We'll offer you help once we're done?"

"O-Oh..." Kira replied rather lamely, shakily getting to her feet and looking back out at the battlefield again. "I-If th-th-they're bl-blowing u-up buildings...w-we should...should p-pr-probably g-get off th-this roof..." she murmured, not wanting the roof to explode beneath her feet.

"Oh, sure, give me the hard job," Heidi grumbled to herself, readying her spear. "But whatever, I can probably take them out fairly easily, at least once I've gone crazy. Be careful not to get caught in the crossfire."

"Keep it quick," Tom muttered to Nathan, wondering whether he should attack or not. Separation seemed to be a useful first step to him.

"True," Luke murmured, going to help her down off the building. A dress probably wasn't the best choice for mobility, so he had the advantage of being in trousers.

"I...I d-d-don't know..." Kira mumbled. She was still a bit shaken from the explosion, and wasn't really sure what was the right thing to do anymore.

Nathan gestured for the Lion to remain there before looking at the two. "Tom, make sure Heidi gets there quick enough."

With that he utilised Super Speed and appeared in front of the group within seconds.

"Mornin' you've probably heard about me." Nathan announced with a grin. "If you could all stay still and let me search that tower then it would be great."

Flames ignited from one of the adults and a bright blue fireball that was four times as big as Nathan scorched the spot where he had stood before. His IA gave him a look at the adults powers and he smirked. Super Strength, Flame Manipulation, Acid Secretion and Invulnerability.

He swung himself forward and wrapped both arms around the necks of the two with Flame Manipulation and Acid Secretion. With another burst of speed he and the two appeared forty feet away from the tower. "I don't particularly want to kill you." He said calmly.

Heidi darted towards the group of kids, glowing red with Flow. "Fun times," she muttered, starting to freeze the blood in their brains one by one while jabbing with her spear.

Tom let out a blast of earth, throwing up small bits of rock to blind his opponents briefly, while he moved the piece of earth they were standing on away from them. Once the cloud had faded, Tom was standing in front of them, waiting for them to make the first move. He felt a familiar pressure in his mind, but his Flow was still going full power, exerting its calming effect.

Let me in, Tom. I can help.
