Heidi jumped to her feet, dropping her spear and grabbing Tom's collar, her fist drawn back. "Get the hell out of his head, you bastard!" she snarled angrily, trying hard not to punch Tom.

"I-It's all w-wasted energy if I-I don't get results..." Kira sighed, glancing out the window at the rising sun. "D-Do you want anything particular f-for lunch today...?"

"I, eh, don't know a lot about food, to be honest, after taking what I can get for ages, so I'll leave it up to you. Been good so far," Luke replied easily.

"I've told you, he'll be back by morning. I think this is the best rest he can get, this or meditation," Shima replied, shrugging great shoulders. He really wanted to shut this girl up, but Tom's body and Flow wouldn't obey his commands.

Kira nodded, a vine ladder forming from the door to the ground. "O-Okay... I-I'll see y-you soon, then... I-I'm just g-going to g-go wash up a-and try t-to remember wh-what plants d-do what..." she told him as she headed towards the door and climbing down the ladder, letting it there if Luke wanted to get into the treehouse while she wasn't around.

Heidi pointed her hand in the direction of the rising sun, her hand still holding Tom's collar. "If you'd get out of his head, he'd be able to sleep again! You're the one killing him!" she accused, her hands shaking out of anger.

"Oh, I make sure we get enough sleep," Shima replied easily. "Dying isn't on my to-do list. Anyway, the big guy's rising, so it's tine for me to hit the hay. Good talking to you, especially you, Nathan."

Heidi let go of Tom's collar, her fists still clenched angrily. She stomped a little ways off into the wasteland, making sure she could still see the campfire, the strong red glow almost making her look as if she was on fire. She knew it wouldn't be long until she went crazy, exerting that much power, but she wanted to blow off some steam. Even back at the campfire, where she'd left her spear, it was shifting shape.

But Shima was gone, and only Tom was left, staring noisily into the fire. He noticed Heidi was away and decided to ignore Nathan's words.

"Why are you two letting your Flows out for everyone in the whole fucking wasteland to sense, eh? Who thought that was a good idea?" he asked, mostly to the air.

Heidi, unable to hear Tom anyway, abruptly sat down on the ground, the amount of Flow she was releasing slowly decreasing. Holding her head in her hands, she simply sat there, trying hard not to break down in tears or something of the sort. With Nathan's Flow giving her nightmares of the death of everyone she had ever remotely cared about, among other things, all week, plus the near daily interactions with Tom's fragment, her brave façade was starting to wear.

Nathan turned and faced Heidi. "I know it hasn't been nice but as this week has gone on, you must have noticed that you're starting to get more tolerant to my flow? And that the despairing effect is getting better." The training had been going well and he could safely say that once Heidi had complete control over her flow she'd be at the same level as those who were ranked four to seven in his Illuminati.

"If she snaps, Nathan, ethics or no ethics, I'm going to kill you," Tom told Nathan in a low voice so Heidi couldn't hear. He himself was half-tempted to release his Flow, but decided that showing off was pointless.

"Getting better? Getting better?!" Heidi asked, laughing a bit hysterically as she leaned back, facing the sky. "If anything, it's been getting worse! You know what it showed me the first night? My parents getting killed. The second was Erika. The third was Ade and Neo. The fourth was Tombo over here. The fifth was the village burning down. The sixth was Simon. And last night? Last night it showed me Mary and Benji."

She slumped forward again, digging through her pockets for the knife that still wasn't there.

Nathan frowned before concentrating on Heidi, sending all of the pressure from his flow directly onto her. "Training time, then." He said to the girl.

"Come at me using your flow at full power, whilst you've got all of my flow focused solely on you. Then I'll prove to you that you're getting better." He said, kicking it up another notch. "When you're unconscious it may be harming you, but lets see if when you're concious it isn't a bit easier."

Heidi sighed, slowly getting to her feet. She felt like she wanted to just curl up and die, but it was just Nathan's Flow... A faint red glow surrounded her, slowly getting stronger. It was hard to get her Flow to work when she felt so depressed. It was easier when she was angry.

"I need you to focus your flow on her as well Tom." Nathan said calmly. "The more pressure that is put on her, the quicker she'll be able to control her flow. When Shima was training me, both he and Oliver focused their flow on me. That's how I learned to master Darkness as well as boost my other powers."

He turned to Heidi and placed his hand towards her and beckoned. "Stop holding back, let the all the flow go even if it begins to control you."

Heidi frowned slightly, this depressing feeling made her Flow just want to shut off all together, not get strong enough to control her. She let out a sigh, the red glow around her getting brighter and brighter, even to the point where it began to blur her figure.

That was a good thing, she supposed, because now the other two couldn't see how she was shaking, trying not to let her Flow control her as it slowly got stronger.

"Why don't you just shu-" Heidi was cut off, the uncontrolled wisps of Flow backing down as her spear moved from its spot next to the fire into her hand.

She charged at Nathan first, aiming her spear at him.

Tom merely stared into the fire. He didn't seem perturbed by the amount of Flow they were producing, confident enough in his own Flow to merely monitor the event. He was worried for Heidi, and he recognised the need to be careful, but mentally, he was still calm and rational old Tom now that Shima had gone to rest.

Kira frowned, crouching by a sunny spot, trying to remember her flowers and herbs. Lavender made you sleep, what was calming again? Chamomile, that was it. Lavender and chamomile should work...

Nathan wrenched his sword form it's sheathe on his back and calmly blocked Heidi's flow backed slash with a flick of his wrist. "Is that... it?" He asked almost patronisingly.

Heidi ducked under the sword as the spear partially liquified, letting the sword pass through, before solidifying again, still aimed at Nathan.

Simon yawned, stretching before getting out of bed, careful not to step on Elena. Today's the day... wonder if Erika's up yet.

The black-haired boy walked into the living room to find a passed out Erika in the chair. "W-wha-?!"

Simon freaked out, looking at his watch. "W-wake up!"

The brunette jolted out of her seat. "What's wrong?!"

"It's 9:30!"

Erika was rubbing her eyes. "...So?"

"The wedding's at eleven!"

"..." The room was still for a few moments, no sound... until:

"SHIIIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!"
