Heidi quickly scrambled to her feet, wishing that for once Erika wouldn't show up when she didn't want her to. "Sorry, got bigger fish to fry," she grunted, continuing to run east.

Kira slowly managed to calm her erratic breathing, hugging Luke back, though careful not to hurt him. It calmed her when someone she cared about gave her a hug or even just simply a pat on the back. After the Storm, words hadn't been her forte. Plus, Luke was warm. The warmth had a comforting effect on her, even before she fully trusted Luke. "Thanks..."

"No worries," Luke replied soothingly. He hoped that everyone was getting out of the forest by now, since all of them had left the two.

Tom made himself another bench to sit on once he got out of the forest, leaning back on it and zeroing in all the Flow signatures he could feel.

"Yeah, we'll be fine," Luke replied genuinely. He needed to stay with Kira, he knew, at least until she had calmed down. Not that he could do a lot in the unlikely evnt he actually found Nathan.

Kira nodded, hesitantly walking back into the forest. Though she was glad to be back among the plants, she was a little scared that someone might've found a way to hide from her.

Luke noticed her slight worry, but didn't know what to say. He had spent years away from her as opposed to weeks with her, and though he had gotten to know her quite well, he had gotten a lot worse in the past five years.

They arrived at the treehouse, and Kira stood looking up at it for a moment, before turning to Luke. "I-I...I'm g-gonna take a n-nap... Th-Thank you f-for st-staying with m-me..." she trailed off, before summoning a vine to take her up.

"No problem. Sleep well," Luke replied, sitting down at ground level. Almost subconsciously, he chose somewhere where he was hard to be seen and where he could watch over all of the clearing, and a bit beyond them, too. He didn't really expect someone to come, but throughout five years he never had. That never stopped him from being careful, and if it was one thing that he learned, it was that you could never be too careful.

Kira fell over onto her bed, pulling the blanket over her whole form and curling up. Why couldn't everyone just stay out of her forest? It was like everyone was intruding in her home. Sure, this structure was her house, but the whole forest was her home. She didn't like unwelcome visitors prancing around it willy-nilly.

Remembering that Luke was just visiting, she let out a quiet sob. What would happen when he was gone again? She'd be all alone, left to the mercy of any stragglers. It was pathetic, she was nineteen and yet she still couldn't deal with people. She was hiding under a blanket. Pathetic.
