Jacob merely raised an eyebrow at Erika. "If you claim to know Nathan as well as you do, then you should already have the answer to why he went off on his own."

Carly's entire body seemed to light up and out of thin air she was now wielding what looked like a bow of pure light. With an arrow of light already cocked.

As everyone looked on, one of the two hooded figures moved and within an instant was in front of Carly. He arrow and bow were dispersed as the figure shook its head before placing a hand on her shoulder and moving her away.

Heidi hissed, swallowing back her Flow until the wisps were gone. "See what I mean, girly?" she called mockingly after Carly.

Kira stepped nervously out of the forest, not particularly enjoying how often she had to leave it. She looked back at Luke, pulling at her braid anxiously.

Jacob merely looked at the two opposing groups.

"We didn't come here for violence, only to deliver a message." He stated. "However, you misunderstood the intention and saw it as a threat. So you threatened us and are now trying to goad some of us into an attack." He was addressing solely Erika. "We'll be leaving now. Think over what we have said, we won't be too far away."

Elliot glanced at Heidi and raised an eyebrow. "Shut up, you loud mouthed bitch. For someone who says she doesn't want conflict you seem to be eager on pushing everyone towards it."

"When did I ever say I didn't want conflict? I'd rather not have the villagers killed because you turned on us, but y'see, I don't get to fight much anymore, and I certainly do love fighting and blood myself," Heidi grinned sadistically, her eyes flashing red for a moment. "I was under the impression that you were all honorable enough people that if I ended up killing your little friend in a battle she brought upon herself, you wouldn't attack the village."

"How about you don't get involved. Shouldn't you have enough on your boy, I figured it'd be hard to juggle an obsession with one guy with a love for another." Elliot fumed at Erika, his temper only escalating. Bones began to protrude from his palms.

"As for you, blood girl. You're the one goading her."

He turned to Heidi with a smirk. "Maybe if you learned to control your flow then you wouldn't be such a liability to your friends."

Kira moved behind Luke a little, not liking the sheer number of people present. Small flowers curled around her feet as she shivered, trying to think of things other than the possibility that these people would try and hurt them.

"Oh really?" Elliot responded to both with a smirk. He then turned to Heidi and grinned. "I doubt that. You ever wonder what happened to your friend Paul? Well lets just say that we went for round two and-"

"ENOUGH!" Jacob yelled to his comrade causing him to shut up.

"Before any blood is spilled here, we'll be leaving. Like I said, think over Nathan's proposition." He also shot a glance at Tom and then too the hooded man. Does he know?

Heidi stiffened. Paul? She hadn't seen him in a while, but he had always been a loner, so she hadn't worried. "You bastards!" she snarled, charging at Elliot, her red glow having come back. "I'll kill you, I'll kill all of you!"

The cloaked figure again shot forward and appeared in front of Heidi. "Heidi, stop." It barked in a male voice. "Think about, Simon."
If anyone was listening closely they would've picked out a slight Scottish accent.

"LEAVE!" The illusionist roared as well to the Illuminatus.

Unfortunately for Luke and Kira, they were left quite alone in the view of the army when they turned, having been caught out on the open. Luke stepped in front, his larger frame blocking Kira from view. He knew she didn't like crowds. He began to shuffle forward towards the village people as if nothing was there, leading Kira while simultaneously protecting her.

Tom got ready to fight if he needed to. Heidi would need help, and he was careful enough to do it without hitting her. The voice changed things. Tom grabbed the figure's collar in an iron grip.

"You son of a bitch, Scotty." His tone was unreadable.

Heidi growled, moving back from the hooded figure. "Paul was my friend, I take care of my friends!" she hissed, before stiffening for a moment, and taking a defensive stance. "What would one of Shima's goons know about Simon?" she asked cautiously, watching the figure carefully, Flow still swirling around her as she struggled to stay in control.

"Listen. Stop getting so angry and take care of yer self. You don't have me around to put people in their place anymore." The hooded figure said quietly so that only Heidi hear. "I know we're on opposite sides now, but that doesn't mean we have ta' be enemies."

Feeling Tom's grip on his collar, the figure flash stepped so he was a couple of feet away before glancing at Tom. "Shut yer' mouth, Irish. Or I'll use the trigger."

Heidi blinked, her Flow disappearing. She took a small step forward, losing the defensive stance, and experimentally punching the figure in the chest. She figured that he wouldn't tell her if he was Eithne or not, and unless his Flow had changed drastically, she'd get a bit of a shock from punching him.
